After riding on 23,000 miles around the United States I’m glad to finally have the Indian Performance Shocks by Fox on my Indian Scout.
In order to install my new shocks, I needed the right tools… So, off to Sears I went and got my first set of Craftsman tools! #exciting!
Installing the new Indian Scout Performance Shocks by Fox required loosening 5 bolts and removing the exhaust.
It was fairly easy to install but does require a base support. We used a paint can, old textbooks, and couple wooden blocks in this case.
I’ve put on 7,000 miles so far on these shocks and can say they were worth every penny. I frequently travel with bags and a luggage pack when I’m out on the road and ride it clean when I’m around town, so I love how easy it is to adjust with a spanner wrench.
Train tracks, potholes, and alley-way curbs are noticeably different. Overall, it is a smoother ride with the Indian Performance Shocks by Fox.
